1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or using any services offered by Shilam Couture ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

These terms apply to all customers, visitors, and users of our website and services, including custom stitching, bridal wear, corporate uniforms, and training programmes.

2. Services

Shilam Couture provides bespoke ladies tailoring, custom stitching, bridal and party wear, corporate uniforms, and stitching training at our studio in Pune. All garments are made-to-measure according to specifications provided by the client.

• All services are subject to availability and studio capacity
• Service descriptions on our website are indicative; final garment details are confirmed at the consultation
• We reserve the right to decline any order that is outside our capability or scope

3. Booking & Orders

Order Confirmation

An order is confirmed only after we receive your advance payment and both parties agree on the design, measurements, fabric, and delivery timeline. A written or WhatsApp confirmation from our team constitutes order acceptance.

Advance Payment

A minimum advance of 50% of the total order value is required before work commences. The balance is due at the time of delivery or pickup.

Design Approval

Any design references, fabric choices, or special instructions must be communicated clearly at the time of booking. Changes requested after work has begun may incur additional charges and timeline extensions.

4. Measurements & Fitting

Accurate measurements are the client's responsibility. We strongly recommend an in-studio measurement session or guided home measurement for best results.

• Shilam Couture is not liable for fit issues arising from inaccurate measurements provided by the client
• One complimentary alteration is offered within 7 days of delivery for fit adjustments (excluding design changes)
• Measurements are stored securely for future orders

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change based on fabric cost, design complexity, and embellishment requirements.

• Final pricing is confirmed at the consultation before work begins
• We accept cash, UPI, bank transfer, and major debit/credit cards
• Outstanding balances must be cleared before garments are released
• Bulk orders (corporate or wedding packages) may have separate pricing structures

6. Delivery & Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are provided at the time of order confirmation. These are indicative and may vary based on order complexity, peak season demand, or fabric procurement.

• Standard orders: 7–14 working days
• Bridal and heavy embroidery orders: 3–6 weeks
• Corporate bulk orders: Timeline discussed and agreed in advance

We offer home pickup and delivery across Pune and PCMC. Delivery charges, if applicable, will be communicated upfront. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (courier delays, natural events, etc.).

7. Client-Supplied Fabric

If you provide your own fabric, please ensure it is pre-washed and of sufficient length as advised. We handle all fabrics with utmost care but cannot be held liable for inherent defects in client-supplied materials (colour bleeding, weave issues, shrinkage).

8. Training Programmes

Enrolment in our stitching training programmes is subject to batch availability. Fees paid for training are non-refundable once the batch has commenced. A seat can be transferred to a future batch with 7 days' prior notice, subject to availability.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including designs, photographs, text, and branding — is the intellectual property of Shilam Couture. Reproduction, copying, or redistribution without written permission is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

Shilam Couture's liability in respect of any claim is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including loss of profit, opportunity, or occasion.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
