This policy applies to products sold by Shilam through the website and is subject to our Terms & Conditions and other policies.

Returns or Exchange Conditions

• Returns must be requested within 2 days of delivery.
• Products on sale or purchased using discount codes are non-returnable.
• Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned with invoice, tags, labels, authenticity cards, dust bags, designer boxes, hangers, and original packaging intact. Freebies/gifts are not exchangeable.
• Pre-order and customised products are not eligible for return or exchange.
• Returns are subject to quality inspection. You may be asked to provide video proof starting from unpacking.
• Silk products are accepted for return only in extreme cases or if the wrong item is received.

Refund Criteria

• Statutory refund (original payment method) may apply if the product does not match listed characteristics, is delivered late (excluding force majeure), or meets other statutory criteria.
• Store credit (Shilam Wallet) may apply if the item is returnable and the return is initiated within 2 days.

A transaction fee of up to 6% of order value may be deducted where applicable.

Returns/Exchange Procedure

• Registered users: log in, fetch order details, and email us to initiate the process.
• Guest users: register using the same email to view order history, then email us to initiate the process.
• Alternatively, email info@shilamcouture.com to start the return.
• For gifts, the original purchaser must initiate the return.

Return Options

• Ship the product to the address provided by us (customer responsible for transit).
• Pickup service may be available for selected pin codes in India.

Shilam will confirm receipt, inspect within 5 working days, and if accepted, refunds are processed within 3�8 working days. Rejected returns will be shipped back to the original address.

Shilam reserves the right to reject returns/exchanges and may deduct benefits such as discounts or waived shipping from wallet credits.

We try our best to ship your products to you at the earliest possible. On an average, it takes us about 7 business days to ship products out of our different warehouses. However, the duration of the shipping may differ if:

(i) Your products are under production.
(ii) Your products are getting custom stitched.

Should this happen, we will keep you informed regularly.

Domestic Shipments:
1. Our products get shipped to you within 5 - 8 working days.
2. If your product(s) is being customised, there might be a delay in the delivery time.

International Shipments:
1. Our trusted partners for international shipping are FedEx and DHL.
2. Please note Shilam is not liable for any customs charges accountable after the goods enter a foreign country. All shipping charges & customs charges are to be borne by the customer and the customer only. VAT / Import Duties / Local Taxes (if any) are borne directly by the customer if such charges are applicable in the destination country on semi stitched/stitched products sourced from India. These taxes will be chargeable over and above the product/order price you pay. These charges are ungovernable as they differ from country to country according to local rules and regulations.

We have a 2-day return policy, which means you have 2 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@shilamcouture.com. If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You will be asked to provide a video proof starting from unpacking the product.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as silk products), custom products (such as special orders or customised/personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items bought with discount codes, coupon codes or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, we will ship a replacement / exchange order for your product(s).

Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
